1 ¼ lbs. skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into strips | ||
1 ½ c. water | ||
3 c. Hy-Vee bow tie pasta, uncooked | ||
1 (16 oz) bag Hy-Vee Select Caribbean blend vegetables | ||
8 oz. Hy-Vee smooth and cheesy loaf, cut into cubes | ||
2 garlic cloves, minced | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee basil | ||
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee red pepper flakes |
Directions
- Spray a large skillet with Hy-Vee non-stick cooking spray. Cook chicken strips over medium-high heat until no longer pink, about 6 to 8 minutes.
- Stir in water and pasta. Cover and simmer about 10 minutes or until pasta is tender.
- Stir in vegetables, cheese, garlic, basil and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring frequently until cheese is melted.
- Serve hot.
