    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter
    ½ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
    2 Bosc pears, halved lengthwise and cored
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee chopped pecans
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee whipped topping, thawed

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    2. Place butter in an 8-by-8-inch baking pan. Place pan in oven until butter is melted. Stir in brown sugar. Lay pears, cut-side-down over brown sugar mixture. Roast 30 minutes.
    3. Turn pears cut-side-up and sprinkle with pecans. Spoon pan juices over pears. Roast an additional 10 minutes.
    4. Cool and serve with remaining pan juices and whipped topping.
