    4 c. Hy-Vee Cinni-Mini Crunch cereal
    1 c. Hy-Vee butterscotch-flavored chips
    ¾ c. firmly packed brown sugar
    ¾ c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    ¾ c. white chocolate chips
    1 tsp. shortening

    Directions

    1. Pour cereal and butterscotch chips evenly onto a greased 15-by-10-by-1-inch jelly roll pan.
    2. In a 2-quart saucepan, combine brown sugar and butter. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Boil and stir for 3 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture; toss to coat evenly.
    3. In a small saucepan, melt white chocolate chips and shortening. Drizzle over cereal mixture. Let stand until completely cooled; break into pieces. Store loosely covered.
