    4 c. Banana Nut Cheerios cereal
    1 c. Hy-Vee dried cranberries
    ⅓ c. Hy-Vee slivered almonds, toasted
    ⅓ c. Hy-Vee roasted sunflower nuts
    ½ c. light corn syrup
    ¼ c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee creamy peanut butter
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla

    Directions

    1. Spray a 9-by-9-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
    2. In a large bowl, mix cereal, cranberries, almonds and sunflower nuts.
    3. In a 2-quart saucepan, heat corn syrup, brown sugar and peanut butter to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
    4. Pour syrup mixture over cereal mixture; toss to coat. Press firmly in pan. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
    5. Cut into 24 bars.
