    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select pure maple syrup
    ¼ c. reduced-sodium soy sauce
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select garlic-flavored olive oil
    4 (1/2 pound each) halibut steaks
    2 tsp. sesame seed, optional

    Directions

    1. Combine syrup, soy sauce and oil in a large zip-top bag. Add halibut, seal bag and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
    2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    3. Remove halibut from marinade; discard marinade.
    4. Place halibut on a greased baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. If desired, sprinkle sesame seed over halibut during the last 5 to 8 minutes of cook time.
