Description

Mmm. Margaritas. Don't get us wrong, these recipes are good on their own. But, what makes them even better is lining the rim with salt, sugar, and/or spices. This step is completely optional, but it's a great way to add additional flavors and complexity to your homemade marg.

  1. Chili Powder + Kosher Salt

Ever had a mango sprinkled with smokey chili powder? It's amazing. This classic combination of mangoes and chili powder makes this one of our favorite margs. Give this margarita a double dose of chili powder by mixing it with kosher salt and lining the rim of your margarita glass.

  2. Smoked Salt

Kick it up a notch by using smoked salt to line the rim of your glass. We like this smoky salted take on our spicy blended cucumber and jalapeno margarita.

  3. Kosher Salt

Classic and traditional. Use coarse kosher salt to line the rim of your margarita. If you want a sweet and salty combo, dip the rim in corn syrup and then into kosher salt.

  4. Freeze-Dried Raspberries

Love berries? Then you're going to love this pro tip. Dip your margarita glass corn syrup and then in freeze dried raspberries. For our double-berry recipe, we used raspberries. But, you can also use freeze-dried strawberries for a triple-berry take on this fresh marg.

  5. Coarse Sugar + Lime Zest

Extra zest for extra flavor. Mix together coarse sugar with lime zest for extra sweetness and a punch of citrus flavor.
