You will still get the same great fuel savings. Now we're just adding more to our program. The new name better describes an enhanced program designed to improve your shopping experience and reward customer loyalty in new and exciting ways. You will still earn fuel discounts by purchasing eligible products, and you'll redeem those rewards at the same gas stations as before. But Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks® will allow us to better tailor those products, offer more timely promotions and give away great prizes.
Yes. All information will migrate to your Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks® account when you activate your new card at hy-veeperks.com. If you pick up a new card with a different card number to use after it is activated, it can be linked and existing fuel discounts can be transferred by calling the Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks® helpline: (800) 232-2580.
You can get a card at the Customer Service counter of your local Hy-Vee or Hy-Vee Gas. Activate it online at hy-veeperks.com.
It's free. If you are already a Fuel Saver cardholder, you simply activate your new card.
This information is required to make the cardholder eligible for new perks, such as random freebies, digital deals, a chance to win a trip, etc. Without the information, current cardholders will only be able to earn and redeem fuel discounts. New members will be able to earn fuel discounts, but not redeem fuel discounts, nor earn or redeem perks until the required information is provided.
You can earn fuel discounts immediately. However, you will need to confirm or update your information — first and last name, address, telephone number and email address — to activate the Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks® card and start redeeming fuel discounts and earning and redeeming rewards. You can activate your card at hy-veeperks.com.
Yes, but you will only be able to take advantage of fuel savings. To unlock the new perks, you'll need to activate your new Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks® card at hy-veeperks.com.
As a Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks® member, you will now receive special offers, digital deals targeted to your shopping list, surprise savings and the chance for random rewards such as a kitchen makeover, vacation packages or even a car. These special offers and surprise savings will be loaded to your card. Simply swipe your card to redeem.
Scan your Fuel Saver + Perks® card to enter drawings for random rewards. Some offers will be redeemable at the cash register or on the next visit to the store. Recipients are randomly selected and will be notified.
Once you have registered your Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks® card, you earn fuel discounts by purchasing eligible products designated with shelf signs throughout the store and found in our weekly ad. Swipe your card at checkout and the fuel discounts will be loaded to your card. By swiping your card, you'll also be eligible for other perks and rewards.
No. For example, if the advertised Fuel Saver discount offer is 10¢ per gallon for a purchase of 10 like items, you must purchase all 10 like items to receive the full 10¢ discount. If only three like items are purchased, the discount would be 3¢ per gallon.
Swipe your Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks® card before pumping your gas. The price rolls back at the pump.
Go to any Hy-Vee Gas, Casey's or participating Shell or PDQ station. Use our gas station finder to locate the nearest participating stations: hy-vee.com/stores/gas-finder.
Yes. Each Fuel Saver discount earned will expire 30 days after purchase. You will be able to check your balance and track expirations at hy-veeperks.com when the card is activated.
Fuel Saver discount information will appear on your receipt. You can also check your balance through your My Hy-Vee account, on hy-veeperks.com or by calling the Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks® helpline: (800) 232-2580.
Your balance resets to zero after each redemption, regardless of the number of gallons purchased. Fuel Saver discounts expire 30 days from the date of purchase of each Fuel Saver item. Fuel Saver redemptions can only be used on one vehicle and cannot exceed 20 gallons per redemption transaction.
Discounts cannot reduce the price below a minimum per-gallon price, which typically ranges from $0.019 and $0.109, depending on the pump. For example, if you have $4 per gallon in discounts and gas is $3.51 per gallon, the pump rolls back to a minimum and the excess discount of $.49 per gallon will remain in your account and can be used on a future transaction. Expiration rules apply.
Multiple cards with separate account numbers can be linked to accumulate discounts, which are redeemed in one transaction. You can get an additional card at your store. To link cards, call the Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks® helpline: (800) 232-2580.
You can update all your contact information at hy-veeperks.com when you activate your new card.
Yes, you can link your Fuel Saver + Perks® card to your Fuel Rewards Network (FRN) account. Nothing has changed.

  • If you received a new card and the card numbers are the same and were previously linked, your new black cards will also be linked. Both cards will still need to be activated.
  • If you picked up new cards, you will need to activate both cards and request customercare@hy-vee.com to link the cards together. Please provide us with the card numbers that need to be linked.
No, you are not excluded from the Pharmacy Fuel Saver program. Federal law requires that we limit the rewards you may earn up to $3.50 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per year per patient and up to $0.75 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per transaction from the pharmacy department. Remember, this limit only applies to rewards gained through the pharmacy department. You can continue to gain unlimited Fuel Saver rewards on purchases outside of the pharmacy department through our general retail rewards programs.

No. Individuals with health benefits provided under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program may participate in the Pharmacy Fuel Saver program and are not subject to these limits.
Yes. Federal laws prohibit pharmacies from providing incentives to individuals who have federally funded insurance unless the incentives are limited to earning up to $3.50 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per year per patient and up to $0.75 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per transaction from the pharmacy department. These limits apply whether you pay cash for the prescription or have the prescription submitted to your insurance.
No. Fuel Saver rewards cannot be earned for transferring a prescription if you have federally funded insurance. However, fuel saver rewards can be earned on pharmacy purchases after the prescription is transferred.
If you were a beneficiary of a federally funded insurance program within the last 6 months, the limits on pharmacy promotions will apply. After 6 months without federally funded insurance, the limits will no longer apply.
Yes. We track the earned Fuel Saver rewards for each person using the same card. Individuals with federally funded insurance can earn up to $3.50 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per year per patient and up to $0.75 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per transaction from the pharmacy department. Patients who have commercial insurance can earn an unlimited amount in the calendar year.
It's free. Just use the same Fuel Saver + Perks Card you use for other purchases. If you don't have a card, you can pick up one for free at your local Hy-Vee.
Yes. In order to earn rewards, you need to swipe your Fuel Saver card at the register. Unfortunately, we can't apply previous purchases to your card.
If someone using your card has federally funded insurance, such as Tricare, Medicare, or Medicaid, that person may earn up to $3.50 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per year per patient, and up to $0.75 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per transaction from the pharmacy department. If someone using your card is on a commercial insurance plan, that person can earn an unlimited amount in the calendar year.
Yes. You can all use the same card. We will track the individual earnings for each person. Yearly balances renew on January 1st each year for all Pharmacy Fuel Saver participants.
Pharmacy Fuel Saver rewards can be redeemed just like any other Fuel Saver rewards that are earned in the store.
There may be a delay in loading Fuel Saver rewards to your card. Once we validate the yearly transaction limit for your card users, you can start using your Pharmacy Fuel Saver, and we expect that this will take 24-48 hours in most cases.
Yes. Just like Fuel Saver + Perks, the discounts will expire 30 days after purchase. They will still be applied to your overall yearly total.

Can't Log In?
The email address you enter must match the email tied to your red Hy-Vee Fuel Saver card. If you can't remember your account email address, try all potential email addresses (work, personal, etc.) - even old ones that you may no longer use. If you find a match, you can then enter your password and proceed with activating your new Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks® card. Watch activation tips video

Can't Remember Your Password?
If you know your account email address but have forgotten your password, select "Forgot Password" on the login page. Instructions to reset your password will be sent to your email address within 48-72 hours. Watch forgot password video
