Spinach and Onion Quiche

All you need:

  • 3/4 c. Hy-Vee frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well-drained
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2/3 c. Hy-Vee shredded cheddar jack cheese
  • 1 (6 oz) Hy-Vee deep-dish pie crust, thawed
  • 4 Hy-Vee large eggs
  • 1 c. Hy-Vee skim milk
  • 1 tsp Hy-Vee ground mustard
  • 1 tbsp Hy-Vee flour
  • 1 tsp Hy-Vee salt
  • 1 tsp Hy-Vee black pepper

All you do:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine spinach, onion and cheese in pie crust.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk, ground mustard, flour, salt and black pepper. Pour into pie crust.
  4. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
