Spiced Warm Apple Cider

All you need:

  • 1 (64 oz) bottle Hy-Vee apple juice
  • 1/4 c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tbsp whole cloves
  • 1 tbsp whole allspice
  • apple slices and cinnamon sticks, for garnish

All you do:

  1. In a large saucepan, combine apple juice, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves and allspice. Simmer 15 minutes.
  2. Strain, discarding spices. Return cider to saucepan and serve warm garnished with slices of apple and cinnamon sticks.
