Kiwi-Strawberry Spinach Salad

All you need:

  • 1/3 c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
  • 1/4 c. Hy-Vee canola oil
  • 1/4 c. raspberry vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted*
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 2 (6 ounce each) bags fresh spinach
  • 2 pints fresh strawberries, halved
  • 4 medium kiwifruit, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 2 medium green onions, sliced

All you do:

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine sugar, oil, vinegar, paprika and Worcestershire sauce; cover and process for 30 seconds. Stir in sesame seeds and poppy seeds.
  2. In a large bowl, combine spinach, strawberries, kiwi and green onions. Add dressing and toss to coat.
  3. *To toast sesame seeds, place in single layer on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
