Creamy Horseradish Sauce

Serves: 8 (2 tablespoons each)

All you need:

  • 1/4 c. whipping cream, chilled
  • 1/3 c. Hy-Vee light mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp Hy-Vee prepared horseradish
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh chives
  • 1/2 tsp Hy-Vee salt
  • 1/8 tsp Hy-Vee ground black pepper

All you do:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream with an electric mixer on medium speed until cream is thick with soft peaks. Fold in mayonnaise, horseradish, chives, salt and pepper.
  2. Serve immediately or cover and chill up to 24 hours. If held overnight, stir before serving.
