Ingredients:

  • 6 oz bittersweet chocolate
  • 1/2 c. Hy-Vee unsalted butter
  • 1 c. Hy-Vee sugar
  • 4 Hy-Vee large eggs
  • 1/2 c. Hy-Vee cocoa powder

All you do

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8-inch round baking pan; set aside.
  2. In a double boiler, melt chocolate and butter, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and whisk well.
  3. Sift cocoa powder over chocolate mixture and whisk until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into pan and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool in pan for 5 minutes; invert onto serving platter and cool completely.
