Our Sympathy to the Crossett Family

We are sad to report that our employee Doug Crossett passed away Wednesday, September 4, as a result of cancer.

Doug is a 36-year Hy-Vee veteran, serving 33 years as a produce manager. He has assisted in many new store openings and trained several employees through the company’s department training programs.

Doug’s daughter, Kayla (Crossett) Beatty, serves as a pharmacist at our store.

Visitation is Friday, September 6, at Jones Eden Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., in Washington (319-653-2105). Visitation begins at 12 noon, with family receiving friends from 5 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 7th, at United Methodist Church, 206 W. 2nd Street, in Washington (319-653-5446).
