Junior Chefs Summer Cooking Camp

Join your Marion Hy-Vee dietitian for our Junior Chefs Summer Cooking Camp! Kids will master the fundamentals of cooking through this hands-on culinary adventure. In our Junior Chefs camps, children will learn how to make cooking creative, nutritious and fun. Each session will broaden your child’s kitchen knowledge with finger-licking recipes that kids can make on their own. From 24/7 snacks to favorite fares from around the world, kids will be exposed to many new foods and flavors. Parents will appreciate the healthy ingredients and lessons on safe cooking and kitchen basics. You supply the chefs, and we supply the rest!
Class Details:
For your convenience, each session is offered both in the morning (9 a.m. – noon) and afternoon (1-2:30 p.m.). The afternoon session is an abbreviated version of our morning session with the same theme and similar activities and recipes. Kids may choose to attend one or more days of any session, or sign up for a week-long session at a discounted price. Full-week participants will also receive a camp T-shirt, coupon book, exclusive camp coupons and cooking diploma. Parents are welcome to stay and participate.
Registration: Pre-registration and payment is required to reserve your spot. Please specify which full session and/or individual classes you would like to attend. No refunds given for missed classes. Classes are subject to change based on registration numbers. A minimum of 5 registered kids per class is required. If a camp is cancelled you will be notified immediately with rescheduling options.

Cost: $15 per day or $70 for one week
Afternoon Sessions:
1½ hours: 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m .
Cost: $10 per day or $45 for one week
