Summer Food Camp for Teens: Exploring the Food Groups

Location: Hy-Vee Club Room
Type: Cooking Class

Teens know the foods groups but let’s dive a little deeper into each one. During each class, we will explore a food group in depth with a short presentation, an activity and a few recipes. The five-week schedule is as follows:
 
June 16 – fruits and vegetables

June 23 – dairy

June 30 – protein

July 7 – no class

July 14 – carbohydrates

July 21 - fats

A minimum of 5 participants for each class is required for class to be held. Register in advance ?????
