Growing and Freezing Herbs

Want to learn about growing and freezing your own herbs? On Tuesday, May 5, the Mahaska County Master Gardens will be available at the Hy-Vee Garden Center from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. to answer your gardening questions. Lois Harris, a Master Gardener, will provide a brief presentation on growing herbs. Debbie Guild, Hy-Vee dietitian, will provide a brief presentation on freezing herbs. The event is open to the public and free to attend. Registration is encouraged, but not required to help with approprate seating.
