Cholesterol Screenings

High blood pressure, high LDL cholesterol, diabetes, poor nutrition are just a few risk factors for heart disease. February is American Heart Month. It is a great time to learn your numbers and learn how you can make a lifestyle changes to decrease your risk of heart disease. Stop by your Hy-Vee Pharmacy to sign up for a cholesterol screening. You need to fast 9-12 hours prior to the screening. The test includes a simple finger-poke and you will know your cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, HDL and glucose numbers within minutes.
