Diabetic Nutrition Education Class

Andrea, your Hy-Vee Registered Dietitian, is hosting a general education class for people who are struggling to control their diabetes with proper nutrition. Cost is $5 per person.
The class will cover:
• Foods that elevate your blood glucose level
• How to carbohydrate count (please ask your doctor how many grams of carbohydrate you should be consuming per day prior to the event.)
• Sugar alcohols and alternative sweeteners
