Honk, honk! Make way because the Hy-Vee Wellness Bus is coming to an area near you! Are you feeling sluggish? Have you been told you have high cholesterol or pre-diabetes? Maybe it is time to schedule a “nutrition checkup” with the Hy-Vee Wellness Bus. The Hy-Vee bus will be providing:
• health screens
• flu shots
• food sampling of the dietitian pick of the month, aronia berries
• healthy samples from Pinnaclife, Pepsi and Frito-Lay
• free handouts on ways to maintain and improve your health
• education about MyPlate and NuVal Nutritional Scoring System
