Location: Kids' Garden next to the Edgewood Rd. Hy-Vee Garden Center
Join us for fun and learning in our Kids’ Garden this summer. Our 4-by-24-foot raised bed kids’ garden is located near the Garden Center. You will learn how to care for plants in the garden, taste the growing produce and even investigate creatures that live in and near the garden. Each class features hands-on activities and opportunities to taste fresh produce. Class is designed for kids in kindergarten through 3rd grade, however all ages are welcome.
Registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Call (3190 378-0762 or stop by the Customer Service Desk. Space is limited. You can sign up for one or all the classes, it is up to you. Instructors: Cathy Wyatt, Garden Center Manager along with Hy-Vee employee, Sue Brown.
