Do you have a phenomenal grilling recipe that could win awards? Well, here’s your chance!
Wilson Avenue Hy-Vee is having a Customer Grill-Off, Saturday, May 2, for the first 20 customers to sign up at Customer Service with $50 deposit, refunded to participants the day of the event. Customers must supply their own grill, propane, cooking utensils and tent, and all ingredients must be purchased at Wilson Avenue Hy-Vee. Winning recipes will be printed after the competition and avilable for other customers to practice their grilling skills.
We’ve got big name judges too! Just to name a few… Mayor Ron Corbett and former University of Iowa wrestler, Mark Ironside!
Cash Prizes:
1st place - $500
2nd place - $300
3rd place - $100
Cheek in for grillers begins at 9 a.m. and judging begins at 1 p.m.
Pre-registration is required at Customer Service no later than Saturday, April 18, 2015.
