Brunch makes weekend mornings marvelous. Whether you're preparing a special meal for family or hosting an event for all your friends, Hy-Vee chef Josh Delperdang will show you how to prepare a balance of sweet and savory flavors to make your brunch a hit. With spring in mind, Chef Josh will show you how prepare crab and asparagus crepes with lemon butter sauce and a crisp mixed baby greens salad topped with shaved fennel, sliced radishes and Satori cheese, all tossed with a tangerine vinaigrette. To make your brunch special, it’s nice to offer something a little unexpected.

For an out-of-the-ordinary dish, Chef Josh will show you how to make cheddar polenta rounds that he will sear and then top with prosciutto caponata and crème fraiche.

For the sweet flavors, Chef Josh will make a Vanilla Greek Yogurt and Berry Relish Napoleon and offer mimosas and champagne. Chef Josh will also give tips on dishes that can be made ahead and presentation ideas for your table. (Must be 21 & over to sample alcoholic beverages). Pre-registration and pre-payment required.
