In the CPR section of this class, participants will learn how to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies. In the First Aid section, participants will learn to apply basic emergency theories learned in the CPR section, and learn to care for various emergencies – bleeding, shock, broken bones, seizures, poisoning and others. All participants must first complete CPR before taking First Aid. This class is ideal for daycare providers. Registration required by calling the American Red Cross at 309-743-2166. Cost $55 ($45 if taking CPR only).
