Are you looking for a way to get your child or young teen more connected with nature? It’s finally warm enough to be outside! This month, we are combining the Kids’ and Teens’ Cooking Clubs. The children will be in the Stony Brook Garden planting seeds and transferring seedlings into raised beds. Class will take place if raining lightly, but not if severe weather is predicted. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring gardening gloves and tools if possible. Also, please note that the duration is longer to accommodate all the yummy food we’ll be growing! Class will initially meet upstairs in Stony Brook Hy-Vee’s Club Room. Adults are welcome to help us plant or must be present in store.
No charge for the class, however we would like to know how many will be attending. Please register today at Customer Service.
