Join us for a fun-filled evening of sampling wine, beer and food from around the world. There will be opportunities to gain firsthand knowledge of wines from some of the industry leaders. Visit the VIP area with access to prestigious wines and foods. All proceeds from this event will be donated to local charities. Tickets are available at all five Hy-Vee food stores. Details below.
This is a fundraiser to benefit local charities in Lincoln. Past beneficiaries include Lincoln Children’s Museum, LPS Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Friendship Home, Red Cross and more - with 100% of proceeds to benefit charities. Last year we raised $20,000 from this event with approximately 450 people in attendance. A charity ballot will be voted on the night of the event and one lucky charity will win $2,000 that night.
Tickets are $35 in advance for general admission area. There will be approximately 50 wine booths & 10 beer booths in the General Admission area. We will also have approximately 15 food sample booths. Patrons will walk in, receive a glass and a booklet with booth information and then "tour" the room to sample wines. Each table will have between 4 and 8 wines on it. VIP upgrades are $20 per person and include access to the General Admission area. It will feature a hot food buffet and high-end wines valued betweem $50-$200 a bottle – for sampling. Tickets are limited so buy early!
