This is a hands-on class where you will decorate a 2-layer 8-inch cake. Our Hy-Vee professional decorator, Patty Hammond, will show you how to prep the cake, put on a base icing coating, then frost the cake. Patty will then demonstrate a variety of ways to finish the cake including simple borders, how to make roses and more. You will take home your 8-inch decorated cake.
You can bring your own equipment (listed below) or purchase for $10 when you sign-up for class. Please indicate if you would like the decoration kit. Each kit will include 4 disposable bags with 4 couplers, a small spatula and a rose tip #104, small rose tip #101, leaf tip #352 and writing tip #3.
