Bring your little ghouls and goblins to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium® for Spooktacular presented by Hy-Vee. Join in the fun on October 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 31 and November 1, 2014, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Purchase tickets in advance for $7 per person for Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium® members or $8 per person for non-members online or at Guest Services. Children 2 and under are free.
When the sun goes down, what happens at the Zoo? Visit the Lied Jungle® to see free-flying bats or stop by Kingdoms of the Night® to see nocturnal animals during their daylight cycle. The evening includes admission to Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium after-hours, trick-or-treating and fun activities. Get up close and personal with different Animal Ambassadors, special animals used for educating visitors. New this year – Fun, interactive entertainment and meet your favorite characters for a fun photo opportunity at Storybook Lane.
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium's admission gates and exhibit buildings will close early on October 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 31, and November 1. Admission gates will close at 3:30 p.m. and exhibit buildings will close at 4:30 p.m. Zoo grounds will be cleared at 4:30 p.m. with re-admittance beginning at 5:30 p.m. for the event with a pre-purchased ticket.
