“Wine Dinner” – Tuesday, January 7th

Join Chef Bob Allen and Tim Alick fine wine specialist, from Okoboji Wines for an evening of wining and dining. Sit back, sip your wine and relax while Chef Bob prepares a succulent four-course meal, with a new wine served with each course. This is a great way to unwind before the holiday festivities begin.

Menu and wine pairings include: Blackened Lemongrass Spiced Ahi Tuna Flatbread with Plums, Red Onion and Avocado Crème paired with Dalliance White Blend. Waldorf Salad with Chicken, Apples, Grapes, Faro and Toasted Walnuts paired with Shannon Ridge Chardonnay. Braised Lamb Ravioli in a Smoked Tomato Broth with Vigilance Cabernet Sauvignon. For dessert, Triple Berry Pie topped with Zinfandel Chantilly Cream and Dalliance Red Blend wine.

Pre-registration and pre-payment required before class in Hy-Vee Wine and Spirits. Participants must be 21 to register for the event.

Time: Doors open at 6:00 p.m., dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $35 (must be registered by Sunday, January 4th), $40 (if registered after Sunday, January 4th.)
