All you need:
2 c. baking soda
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. corn starch
food coloring
All you do:
Mix the baking soda, water and corn starch with a fork in a medium saucepan. Add the food coloring of your choice. If you like, split the batch in half and make two colors or make several batches.
Heat mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Remove from heat. When mixture cools, knead to a smooth dough. Do not overcook mixture or it will crumble. Store colors separately in airtight containers.
