Third Party Cookies Instructions

If you are having trouble viewing the Weekly Ads on your computer, follow the instructions below to make sure your browser has the correct settings to view the ads. Below are instructions for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Apple Safari. Choose the instructions for which ever browser you are using.

Internet Explorer:

1. Go to the top menu and click on Tools or click on the icon in the upper right corner of the browser.
2. Click on Internet Options.
3. Click on the Privacy tab at the top of this screen.
4. Now you will see your privacy settings. If you click on the Advanced button, you will see this screen:
   
5. You need to make sure Third-party Cookies has the Accept clicked. If these options are greyed out, you need to click the Override automatic cookie handling checkbox to be able to change these settings.
6. Click OK and close your browser.
7. Re-launch your browser and go to hy-vee.com. In the right hand column click Weekly Ad. You should now see the weekly ads display on the page.

Mozilla Firefox:

1. Click on the Firefox menu in the upper left and choose Options (on a PC) or choose Preferences (on a Mac).
2. You will now see the Preferences menu for Firefox. Choose the Privacy option in the menu.
3. Under the History heading, there are dropdown options for Firefox will:
4. In that dropdown menu, choose Use custom settings for history.
5. In the options that display, make sure Accept third-party cookies is checked.
   
6.  Close the Preferences and close and re-launch the browser. Go to hy-vee.com. In the right hand column click Weekly Ad. You should now see the weekly ads display on the page.

Google Chrome:

1. Click on the wrench icon in the upper right corner of the browser.
2. Click on Options (on a PC) or Preferences (on a Mac) in the menu.
3. In the left hand column under Options, click on Under the Hood.
4. Right below the Under the Hood heading you will see Privacy. Click on the Content settings button.
5. You need to make sure Allow local data to be set (recommended) is selected. Your settings should look like this:
   
6. Close your Google Chrome browser and re-launch the browser. Go to hy-vee.com. In the right hand column click Weekly Ad. You should now see the weekly ads display on the page.

Apple Safari:

1. Click on the cog icon in the upper right corner of the browser or click Preferences under the Safari menu in the top menu bar.
2. You will now see the Preferences panel.  You need to click on the Privacy option in the menu bar.
3. Make sure Block cookies is set to never block.  The screen should look like this:
   
4. Close your Apple Safari preferences and then close and re-launch the browser. Go to hy-vee.com. In the right hand column click Weekly Ad. You should now see the weekly ads display on the page.
