Triple Cranberry Relish

Serves: 10 (1/2 cup each)

All you need:

  • 1 c. frozen cranberry juice concentrate, thawed
  • 2/3 c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
  • 2 (10 oz each) packages fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 c. Hy-Vee dried cranberries
  • 6 tbsp Hy-Vee orange marmalade
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp Hy-Vee ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Hy-Vee ground nutmeg

All you do:

  1. In a medium saucepan combine cranberry juice concentrate and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add the fresh or frozen and dried cranberries.
  2. Cook until the dried berries soften and the fresh or frozen berries begin to burst, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in orange marmalade, allspice, cloves and nutmeg.
  4. Cool completely. Cover and refrigerate until cold.
