Lemon Pepper Salmon on a Cedar Plank

Ingredients:

  • 1 cedar grilling plank
  • 1 pound salmon, cut into 4 pieces
  • 1 tsp Hy-Vee lemon pepper, divided

All you do

  1. Submerge cedar planks in water and soak for at least an hour.
  2. Heat grill to medium heat.
  3. Place planks on grill for 3 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle salmon with lemon pepper.
  5. Place salmon pieces skin-side-down on planks. Close cover. Cook for 15 minutes or until salmon flakes easily.
  6. Note: Keep a spray bottle filled with water near the grill at all times. Flare-ups may occur.
