Ingredients:

  • 1 c. Hy-Vee butter, softened
  • 1 c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
  • 2 Hy-Vee large eggs
  • 1 tsp Hy-Vee vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. sifted Hy-Vee flour
  • 1 tsp Hy-Vee baking soda
  • 1 tsp Hy-Vee salt
  • 1 (12 oz) pkg Hy-Vee chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped nuts, optional

All you do

  1. Cream together butter, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs.
  2. Sift together flour, soda, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing until well blended. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
