Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Hy-Vee thick-sliced bacon, cut in pieces
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (15 ounce) can Hy-Vee kidney beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can Hy-Vee red beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can Hy-Vee pork & beans
  • 1/2 c. Hy-Vee brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. Hy-Vee ketchup
  • 1 1/2 tsp Hy-Vee vinegar
  • 1 tsp Hy-Vee prepared mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Hy-Vee ground mustard

All you do

  1. In a large skillet, brown bacon; drain and place in slow cooker.
  2. In the same skillet, cook ground beef and onion until meat is brown; drain and place in slow cooker.
  3. Add all other ingredients to slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour. Turn setting to LOW and cook until heated through or until serving time.
