There are many products available that are naturally gluten-free, and because of this Hy-Vee has developed an extensive listing of our private brand products that are guaranteed gluten-free.
You can find this listing at the following link: http://www.hy-vee.com/webres/File/Gluten-Free-Listing0211.pdf.

This listing allows people who eat gluten-free to know what everyday food items will be safe for them to consume. It is difficult to decide what private brand products have the greatest demand for gluten-free because there are so many options to choose from. Most of the gluten-free demand that I see are focused on the traditionally wheat-based products such as pizza, breads, cereals and baked goods.

The products I buy the most of I don't trust from a private brand.  I was also assume those products wouldn't be cheaper than the mainstream products.

I would love to see more coupons, sales, rewards systems in place for those products we use all the time.  2 coupons from Udi's isn't really that much when you think of the price of their products.  Plus, gluten free flours are very expensive sales on them would be great!  When I do find them on sale it's a happy accident.  I've never seen them listed in ads.

We really love Udi bread and go through quite a bit of it. A decent pizza crust would be nice to have in stock. We have gone to making our own because the store carries only the wafery ones and they are like cardboard. Chebe has great recipes for how to use their mixes online and how to make your own crackers and crusts and breads and the mixes are very versitale. And the gf graham crackers by kinnikinnick are a must for any house hold with young children and anyone who bakes pies and cakes for their families. Coupons and sales for these items would be great. It's a huge expense to feed my family gf versions of traditionally wheat based products. And the specials and sales generally ran in the store are for things we can't use in our household.

Kinnickkinnick (not sure I spelled that right) makes a good gluten-free pizza crust. A little pricey, but I love pizza and this is by far the best gluten-free one I've had. You can even just put olive oil and herbs on it and it's like a foccacia bread.

I’ve tried most of the gluten free products from Gluten Free Palace – it’s an online shop that sells only GF products. I like the Udi brand and the pasta from Le Veneziane!
