With food allergies, it helps to get really creative with food and your local Hy-Vee dietitian can definitely assist you with this. For example, with gluten and yeast allergies, try a corn tortilla has is made with 100% corn. Flat breads don't require yeast and corn tortillas are gluten-free. Another tip with food allergies, focus on the foods that you can have instead of the foods you can't. Then make a list of foods you know that are safe for you, it may take you awhile to write this list but once you have it written you can design a variety of meals based off of this list.

Your local Hy-Vee dietitian will also be able to sit down with you and go over what you are currently eating and make recommendations on what you can do to assist you in your weight loss goals. And don't forget about exercise! It is just as important as eating a balanced diet.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

start by juice fasting (I recommend 3 days-starting on a friday) organic veggies and fruits...the juice will run through your system much faster than chewing, allowing to see results quiker. Not you won't be starving! you will get the nutrients and calories that you need to sustain you and if you continue to juice you will notice that hunger pangs/pains will disappear although you may feel hungry.

When juicing find out what u can handle and what u can't...maybe carrots work but not carrots and celery. so elimate the celery and add cumber (with a little apple for sweetness). If you really want to eat, have a salad (mixed greens or spinach) with a little lemon and olive oil.

"fasting" from starchy veggies may work also, avoid white potatoes, white bread, white rice, and white pastas and corn. introduce brown rice, whole grain (not wheat) pasta into your diet and so on. white potatoes can be replaced with yams until you know what is affecting your system.

After three days of juicing eat light balanced meals.I would suggest only having meat at one meal (lunch) and for that meat to be either, fish or chicken. no beef or pork and for now. And no dairy for 2 weeks and no starch for 1 week.

breakfast should consist of a fiber (oatmeal/oatbran) and fruit. no dairy!! however, after about 2 weeks slowly add dairy back in (yogurt is best) or cottage cheese in small amounts.

Snack, on fruit, Smoothies are a great choice, just make sure they are dairy free (no whey or milk powder) and be aware of how much sugar is in it. After 2 weeks have cottage cheese, yogurt, or a veggies sandwich on whole grain bread.

Dinner, veggies, and a lean meat. or veggies and a starch-rice, pasta. try to avoid eating meat and starct at the same meal.

drink plenty of water, exercise and keep a jounal or what is working and what is not.

Four weeks is a good start. your really have to put in the work to achieve the results you want. and because these four weeks are filled with healthy eating, you will find yourself feeling a little hungry after eating shortly after, it's something you adjust to and take no guilt in eating another healthy snack. this is a detox diet so red meat, pork, most cheese, mayo and so forth are going to be a hinderance. try this for 4 weeks and see what works for you and then tweek it.
