In Response to GMO Corn Chips:
Hi, I like the Hy-Vee brand corn chips in the purple bags, but I'm worried that they ar made with GMO corn. We know now that Round-Up ready corn and other plants cause organ damage in lab animals. (Original Monsanto studies were "fudged" and only done for 3 months.) Long term studies reveal many problems, which is the reason that GMOs are banned in all countries except 3. Are Hy-Vee corn Chips made with round-up ready GMOs? I really need to know. If you don't know, just contact my friend Ken Ross with Genetic ID and he can tell you percisely how much GMO there is in your corn chips. Thanks. Robert

I'm going to assume you are referring to – UPC 75450 07197 - Hy-Vee White Corn Tortilla Strips - 24 OZ (680 g).
If this is the right product the following is our suppliers statement regarding GMO: We do not knowingly use GMO corn, and our corn growers are GMO free. We cannot guarantee that the corn is GMO free, though, because there is always the possibility of cross pollination.
Please let me know if I may be of further assistance or this isn’t the product you are referring to.
