Treating Powdery Mildew On Roses

Q: I purchased a miniature rose bush last summer that was supposed to be either an indoor or outdoor plant. I left it outside until early fall and then brought it in the house. I did treat it with a fungicide before I brought it in. I see that there is a light-colored powder on the leaves now. What could this be and how can I get rid of it? Julie – Waukee

A: This is powdery mildew. Get some Fung-onil in a ready-to-use bottle. Treat it two times, about 10 days apart.
