Transplanting Mandevillas

Q: I wintered my mandevillas in the basement. Is it too early to transplant them back outside? Vickie – Grimes

A: I wouldn’t take them outside yet [late April]. The frost-free date [in central Iowa]is May 10, so you can take them out the middle of next week.
