Q: I have a schefflera plant that is 25 years old. I repotted it two years ago and use plant food each time I water it. It sits in an east window. The leaves are drooping very badly—I don’t want to lose it—what can I do? Pat – Griswold
A: I’d give it a trimming back to 24-30 inches. Of course continue to feed it. Keep it away from the heat register and give it plenty of light.
