Rose Bushes

Q: We have rose bushes on the east side of our home that have never bloomed in the 10 years we’ve lived here. They do have healthy leaves and stems. Can we do something to get them to flower? Should we remove them? Karen – Grundy Center

A: Yes, please remove them. I recommend the Elegant rose or the Knockouts. They’re maintenance-free and hearty. These only grow up about 3-1/2 to 4 feet tall. You’ll love that selection.
