Healthy Tulips

Q: Our tulips leafed out and then fell over without any stems or flowers. What would cause this and what should we do to prevent this from happening next year? John – Ankeny

A: Bring all those bulbs out and separate them by size. Use a high phosphorus bonemeal when replanting. Add new bulbs to keep the beauty in the tulip landscape.
